As she was telling me her new goals, which she has been working on for about a year now, you could visibly see her lighten up and you could hear the excitement in her voice. In fact, she told me that wanted to tell many people of her new goal in life. The excitement I heard, and that I related back to her, was her passion. She was iterating her passion. And I am pretty sure that she will specialize beyond that.

To provide alternatives for them, to love them, to treat them as humans made in the image of God, to offer hope, etc. , is significantly lower than volume of the clamoring voices. Have you noticed the same? That is the questions we are asking. I am not suggesting simply giving in to the culture of death we find ourselves in, but I am suggesting that we at least start reaching for obtainable goals that can be agreed upon at this point until further progress can be made.
